On April 11, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced three new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. A total of 385 cases have been confirmed in Taiwan as of writing. With respect to the three imported cases confirmed today, Case #383 is an over 60-year-old male; Case #384 is an over 70-year-old male; Case #385 is an over 20-year-old female. Case #383 worked for a long time in the United States. He had stomach pain as well as a decreased appetite and felt feverish on March 31. Case #384 lived in the United States, and had a productive cough on April 3. Cases #383 and #384 entered Taiwan on April 10. They both voluntarily reported their symptoms to quarantine officers, and were then tested for COVID-19 at the airport. Infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the cases on April 11. Case #385 studied abroad in France. She was in home quarantine after arriving in Taiwan on April 3. She had a runny nose and stuffy nose on April 4. She developed a fever on April 7, and health agencies arranged her medical care and COVID-19 testing the same day. Infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on April 11.
