On October 14, the Central Epidemic Command Center announced that from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 15, appointments for the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT) vaccine in the 11th round of bookings on the COVID-19 Vaccination Registration and Reservation system (https://1922.gov.tw/) will also be open to people aged 44 and older (born on December 31, 1977, or earlier) who registered their willingness to receive the BNT vaccine before October 13, to ensure effective use of vaccine. A round of vaccinations for the eligible group is scheduled take place from October 17 to October 21.
