COVID-19 vaccine to be offered to registered medical personnel, non-medical personnel at healthcare facilities, and other personnel included in the first group of vaccination program on April 6

On March 31, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that after assessing the number of vaccine doses administered in Taiwan, it would begin to offer COVID-19 vaccine to Group 1 people listed in the COVID-19 vaccination program, including registered medical personnel, non-medical personnel at healthcare facilities and personnel at group quarantine facilities, on April 6. The CECC made this decision to maximize the benefits of vaccine.

The CECC explained that it would set up 16 more injection sites in addition to the original 87 vaccination locations with a view to increasing vaccine accessibility. People eligible for vaccination can make an appointment with those sites to get vaccinated.
