During Week 31 (July 30th to August 5th) in 2017, a fatal case of severe complicated enterovirus infection was newly confirmed (Figure 1).There has been a total of seven (including one death) enterovirus infection cases with severe complications (EVSC) in 2017. The majority of cases were aged 0-1 (Table 1). The cases were caused by Coxsackie A6, Coxsackie A2, Coxsackie B3 (fatal), and ECHO 5. Figure 2 shows the geographical distribution of these cases according to their residence.
