September 27, 2011--As of September 27, 2011, 9 cases of enterovirus infection with severe complications had been reported and confirmed by Taiwan CDC. These cases are aged below 10 years (See Table 1(pdf file)) and reside in the northern, central, eastern and southern areas of Taiwan. (See Fig. 1(pdf file))

No case was newly confirmed in Week 38 (September 21 to September 27). (See Fig. 2(pdf file))
